SCHEDULE OPTIONAL COVID TEST FOR YOUR PERFORMANCE

Paramount Theatre is about gathering together and sharing in the experience of live theater. We are committed to the health and safety of all members of our Broadway musical community—theater employees, production staff, cast, and audience members.

To ensure the safety of everyone in the theatre, the following policies will be in place for all performances of Cinderella and David Sedaris. For procedures for Copley Theatre performances, please click here

IMPORTANT: Please note, everyone regardless of age (adults, teens, children) who are attending a performance at either Paramount Theatre or Copley Theatre must have proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative COVID-19 Test. Please familiarize yourself with the below details so you bring the proper documentation. Please share this information with anyone you may have given tickets to and/or will be joining you so everyone in your party is aware of requirements. Our goal is to make this as smooth of an experience as possible.

MASKS REQUIRED
For performances through January 9, 2022:
Everyone in the theatre must wear acceptable face coverings at all times, including during the show, except while consuming beverages. All face coverings must cover the nose and mouth, and comply with the CDC guidelines for acceptable face coverings.

VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID TEST REQUIRED

All patrons (including children) must show proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID test (for those that need an exemption) at their time of entry into the theater with their valid ticket and must show a photo ID (ID for those 14 and older.) “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date must be at least 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Those guests under the age of 12 who are not fully vaccinated, or those who need reasonable accommodations due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief may provide proof of a negative covid-19 test per below. PLEASE NOTE: ALL GUESTS REGARDLESS OF AGE who are not fully vaccinated must provide proof of at least one of the following, in addition to properly wearing a mask while inside the building:

  • negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the published performance time, or
  • negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken no later than 24 hours of published performance time.

Note: All tests must be administered by a medical professional and clearly display date, time and results of test.

IMPORTANT: To clarify, all teens/children of all ages either need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test, per above.

If proof of vaccination or a negative test or photo ID (ID for those 14 and older) cannot be presented, guests of any age will not be allowed access to the building and will be asked to contact the box office for their options.

Acceptable Forms of Proof: Guests may present proof of vaccination or a negative test on paper or a smartphone. If proof of vaccination or a negative test or photo ID cannot be presented, patrons will not be allowed access to the building and will be asked to contact the box office for their options.

Acceptable Forms of ID: Photo IDs are required for anyone 14 and older and include a state issued ID, driver’s license, school ID, park district ID, etc. Children 2 and under will not be admitted into the building.

  • Added state-of-the-art practices including self-cleaning anti-microbial covers in high touch areas where possible
  • Set up hand-sanitizing stations throughout the venue
  • Trained all employees in critical hand washing and cleaning guidelines
  • Replaced waste receptacles with open top units so guests can throw out items without touching any surfaces
  • HVAC units have been tested by a certified testing and balancing company and found to meet or exceed industry standards. MERV filters are used in all our units.
    • Affiliations and certifications include ASHRAE, NEBB, SMACNA, TABB and inttb.com
