The highest purpose of any theater is to inspire its community toward a more perfect humanity. Such humanity can exist only when every member of the community is included and valued, empowered and heard. To express this truth, Paramount Theatre commits its leaders, volunteers, artists and staff to the active, continual and accountable pursuit of the following principles:
EQUITY
We will champion justice and equitable treatment of persons in every circumstance, zealously defending the intrinsic worth and value of every member of every community we serve by amplifying the most marginalized voices. We recognize by focusing on lifting those voices, we will in fact lift and strengthen our whole community together.
INCLUSION
We will ensure our organization and its programs are accessible to all people, recognizing, owning and removing all barriers to participation, both physical and attitudinal.
DIVERSITY
We will pledge our talents and work to represent, honor and celebrate multiple perspectives, experiences, backgrounds, and identities, encouraging a diverse population to express its creative voice at the Paramount.
