Chicago restaurateur Amy Morton will open the restaurant planned for the new Aurora Arts Center downtown.

On Wednesday, Morton; Tim Rater, president and chief executive officer of the Aurora Civic Center Authority; and Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin announced together that Morton will run the restaurant planned for about a 5,000-square-foot suite in the center at 5 E. Galena Blvd. The center is due to open in about a month.
