As a performer, Susan has appeared at Theatre at the Center, Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Artists’ Ensemble, The Old Globe Theatre, Lincoln Center Institute, Ma-Yi Theatre and others. As a voice-over artist, she has narrated for such companies as Canon, Estee Lauder, Abbott, Baxter, Grainger, Sanofi-Synthelabo, and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Coaching dialects and voice freelance, Susan has worked with various productions in Chicago, coaching dialects with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Peter Pan), Paramount Theatre (Once, Cabaret, Million Dollar Quartet, Sweeney Todd, Little Mermaid), Shattered Globe (The Rose Tattoo, The Whaleship Essex, Mill Fire, Other People’s Money), Light Opera Works (My Fair Lady, Cabaret, Camelot, Secret Garden, Brigadoon), Mystery Writers’ Festival (Panic, Chimneys), Berkshire Theatre Festival (Cloud 9), BrightSide Theatre (Cabaret, Run For Your Wife), and Fordham University, among others.
Currently teaching Voice at Columbia College Chicago, she has taught various levels of Voice and Accents & Dialects at CCC, and has served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice and Speech at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Susan received her MFA from the University of California, San Diego and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
