Lawrence (he/him) is a National Board Certified Teacher with over twenty years of experience teaching and working in theater.  During this time he has been MD for over 20 musicals, and has served as the artistic director for the Bolingbrook High School Madrigal Dinner since 2006. He also founded The Valley View STAGES summer theater program for middle school students in Romeoville and Bolingbrook. Mr. Fisher grew up in Kentucky and then studied music education at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Upon graduation he moved to Massachusetts and completed his Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting. He also studied at the Kodaly Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary where he focused on the Kodaly technique.  In his spare time, he enjoys LEGO, reading, coffee, and spending time with his husband, Brian, and their child, JJ.
