Meg McGarry

Meg (she/her/they) was raised in rural Wisconsin, and focused on music and theater early on. She learned multiple instruments and was heavily involved in prestigious music groups throughout her education. She studied for a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance at Lawrence University’s Conservatory of Music and was a member of the 132nd Army Band, where she was a vocalist and jazz pianist. She has performed in and directed community and professional theater throughout the Chicagoland area and is the board president of Fox Country Players. She performs locally with the band Guided Path and is a featured soloist and worship leader at UCC First Congregational Church of Elmhurst. Meg has been writing and directing youth theater programming for nearly a decade and is so honored to be a part of the Paramount School of the Arts mission. She is married to her best friend and has two really cool kids
