CATS

Winner of 7 Tony awards, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score. Grammy award for Best Cast Show Album.

The most beloved musical in theater history brings the colorful world of Cats to the stage, this time featuring the acrobatics and grace of true felines. You may know all of the words, but you’ve never seen this Cats before—just picture Grizabella flying through the air with the greatest of ease!

Inspired by a collection of poems by T.S. Eliot, Cats, the iconic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is a well-loved fantastical journey into the world of Jellicle Cats. Long-time subscribers of Paramount will recall our acclaimed rendition in 2014. Now Paramount’s creative team has re-envisioned this classic and brings a new layer and energy to the clandestine world of felines. With a whole circus tent full of notable cats, you’ll get swept up in the spectacle of contortion, juggling, and aerialists who embody the spirit of Mungojerrie, Bustopher Jones and more.

The latest production explores timeless themes of identity and redemption, while keeping the
unforgettable music with stirring songs like “Memory,” and “The Rum Tum Tugger.” More than 40 years since its release on Broadway, Cats is back to enchant a new generation of audiences with its imaginative storytelling and groundbreaking circus flair.

Full of captivating dance, rousing music, singsong poetry, and now, astounding circus, the show won the Tony for Best Musical and Best Original Score. It ranks as number 11 on the all-time Best Selling Broadway Musical roster. Full of magic, dance, and feats of fancy, you will not want to miss this show. See for yourself how Paramount Theatre gives Cats another life!

Music by ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER
Based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T. S. ELIOT
