I’m racing with the clock this morning to catch up with you – it’s been a few weeks! The buzz around here is all about Rock of Ages and Sweat all the time, all hands on deck!

Rockin’ and rollickin’ high on laughs for our first preview audience tomorrow night – you can come PAY WHAT YOU CAN and “feel the noise” on Thursday at 7pm and Saturday’s 3pm matinee! Previews play out this week and next up to Press Opening on Friday, April 22, and taking my share of sneak peeks during tech and band rehearsals, it sure looks like this baby is gonna sell out fast so get your tickets asap! The talent for this show is off the charts under the no-holds-barred direction of Amber Mak and her crew of creatives, designers and performers – the sights and sounds, vocals and musicians, are superbly wild, wild, wild! Serious skills and comedic high jinks deliver a dose of diversion and fun entertainment for rock music lovers as we all need it right now and with a warm rush of nostalgia to boot! Just sayin’ to everybody, it closes May 29 and don’t miss it!

The Bold Series’ inaugural production, Sweat, the second Pulitzer winner for playwright Lynn Nottage, continues to powerfully move audiences into thought provoking conversations and praise for this ensemble of outstanding actors deftly directed by Andrea J Dymond. It’s a prime example of the vast variety of theatre experience now playing in the new Copley Theatre. Running until April 24, join the adventurous playgoers who are loving it and the refurbished preshow lounge, the latest addition to the artistic hub burgeoning in Aurora’s downtown!

And Paramount continues to grow with more job opportunities being listed at paramountaurora.com/opportunities. Check out the possibility of joining our Paramount Family and the changing and transformative future ahead!

Love & thanks,
