The Palette Talk Artists is a group of artists who work in a variety of mediums including oils, water colors, oil pastels, acrylics and mixed media.  Their skills range from the well established professional, to the up and coming aspiring artist. The informal group gathers on Saturday mornings to critique the artwork of their peers and is moderated by nationally recognized artists David Hettinger and George Shipperley. The group meets at Jake’s Bagels & Deli, 220 N. Broadway in Aurora on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m.  All are welcome to attend.

In addition to the Palette Talk Artists, the Paramount Theatre Art Gallery is honored to feature the Collage work of John Erdos within its Palette Talk show.  John is an occasional contributor to the Palette Talk art group. The collection represents a small portion of his work from the 1970’s, 80’s and early 90’s. “His complex compositions and layering effects bring a depth to his figures not usually found in collage. His attention to detail is extraordinary,” said gallery curator Melissa Mercado. ” You must see it! We are fortunate to have a collage artist of this caliber in our gallery.”
