Liz Hilsabeck

Liz is so excited to be a part of the Paramount School of the Arts!  She began teaching dance and musical theatre after earning her BA in Theatre from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and has taught and directed at several different schools throughout the Chicagoland area.

Liz enjoys working with all age groups and is particularly passionate about teaching preschool and elementary aged students.  Having primarily focused on children’s arts education for the past 17 years, she takes special care to acknowledge each child’s individual learning style.  Liz believes that arts education not only fosters one’s love of singing, dancing, playing an instrument, etc., it’s about giving a person room, confidence and a safe place to express themselves and to see far their imagination can take them. All while learning valuable life skills and building a foundation of great technique.

Liz approaches each class with joy, energy and a great big smile!
