Dyanna began her dance training in 2003 through Western Illinois University’s dance department and the Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center Dance Troupe. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from WIU and her MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University. Dyanna is a dance studio owner and Adjunct Dance Professor at Dominican and Aurora University in addition to being a teaching artist at The Paramount School of Arts. This past season she choreographed “Mamma Mia!” for Dominican University, “The SpongeBob Musical” for Aurora University, and co-directed ‘The Daily Grind’ Dance Production at North Central College. “I want to be like the teachers that made a difference in my life and the lives of others. I hope I do that for my students and our community.”
