How do you chart freedom? How can you package liberty?

Plan ahead due to construction.

IMPORTANT STREET CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Starting October 6th through November, Broadway (Route 25) will undergo water main construction between Benton Ave. North to New York St. This project will cover about 4 blocks, but its impact on traffic will extend further. Expect traffic delays, especially on cross streets like Galena Blvd. To ease congestion, the City of Aurora recommends avoiding Broadway (Route 25) through Downtown Aurora. Instead, consider using alternative routes. One great option is Lincoln Ave, just a block or two east of Broadway, running North & South on the East side of the train tracks.

Nominated for 2 Tony Awards, including Best Play!

WHAT ONCE WAS, MAY NO LONGER BE TRUE. How do you chart freedom? How can you package liberty? Who’s included and who’s deliberately discarded? How can you create your own future when it’s never certain to begin with? Playwright Heidi Schreck’s Pulitzer Prize nominated play dives into who the U.S. Constitution is really for, using her past teenage self, winning college money by debating the Constitution in American Legion halls across the country. Hilarious, heartbreaking and insightful, What the Constitution Means to Me shows the fight for freedom and equality is never done, but passed on from generation to generation. But perhaps Schreck’s most incendiary question is the most obvious: should we abolish the Constitution and start over?
