The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical coming-of-age drama film. In the Pride Lands of Tanzania, a pride of lions rule over the kingdom. King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi’s newborn son, Simba, is presented to the gathering animals. Mufasa’s younger brother, Scar, covets the throne. Scar sets a trap for Simba and Mufasa to kill them, Mufusa dies, but unaware to Scar, Simba lives.
