For years, Steve Cochran, Mike Toomey and Tim Benker have been killing it on radio, TV, podcasts and in every comedy club from Chicago to Poughkeepsie. Now, this hilarious triad bring their talents to Aurora. Cochran and company sold out their past Copley Theatre shows and they will do it again. Grab some friends – or fly solo and make some new friends – and be in the audience for this special night.
About the performers
Steve Cochran is a true radio legend with 30 years in Chicago broadcasting from The Loop to WGN and more. Steve hosted 10,000+ shows on the radio with more than 20,000 guests, and counting. He’s still asking questions today on his LIVE FROM MY OFFICE podcast. Nationally recognized as one of the great interviewers of all time, he has a constant curiosity about all things and an innate ability to make every guest look good. Steve is thrilled to be back on stage doing stand up as he has for many years. He has worked with Lewis Black, Garry Shandling, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan and many more of the funniest people ever. His three grandkids are 10, 6, and 1 and they all think he’s funny… and funny looking. He’s glad you’re here and thanks you for coming out.
For decades, Mike Toomey has been known as one the best headliners in America. He’s that rare talent that other comics can’t wait to see. Mike has appeared in concert with such names as George Carlin, Wayne Newton, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Reba McEntire. He has performed on HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado; MTV’s Half Hour Comedy Hour; and A&E’s Comedy on the Road. He has been a crucial part of the WGN-TV Morning News and serves as the “Announcer” for the always entertaining 9 a.m. hour each day. Mike continues to do bits for the full show and recently began hosting his own show on the WGN+ digital channel. It’s called “Laugh Tracks” with episodes Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. and replays throughout the weekend. He grew up in Carol Stream and is thrilled to be a first time grandfather to the beautiful Gabriella.
A Chicago comedy veteran, Tim Benker has performed stand-up from New York to Las Vegas, and has co-hosted morning radio shows in Las Vegas and Houston along the way.
