A spunky young orphan is taken in by a rich eccentric, much to the chagrin of the cantakerous woman who runs the orpanage.
During the Great Depression, an orphan named Annie is living in an orphanage. It is run by a cruel alcoholic who forces the orphans to clean the building daily. A secretary to billionaire Oliver Wabucks arrives to invite an orphan to live with Warbucks for a week to improve his public image and Annie is chosen.
