What was the main theme of your wedding? How did it all work together?
Our wedding theme was Vintage Hollywood Glam – with metallics and cool toned nudes. Our guests wore all black and we were both in white. This was a gathering of only the most intimate immediate family and friends. This helped us to create an exclusive, private affair for adults only. We had a small group of 50 to celebrate 5 years married and a first-time wedding.
Our venue was the Paramount, specifically the Atrium and the Meyer Ballroom. The large glass windows with natural light pouring in created the perfect backdrop for ceremony and reception. Choosing this venue was both unexpected and special as we both grew up in and near Aurora. This meant both of our immediate families were able to come together and celebrate our union amidst familiarity and local comfort. For years to come we and hopefully our friends and family will remember the Paramount as it was when we were together celebrating love.
Unbeknownst to us, this is a very popular wedding venue in Aurora. The Meyer Ballroom boasts the aesthetic of the old theater in addition to the grand acoustics and various settings for weddings, events and more.
Tell us a bit about you!
We met through mutual friends back in 2014 when Paije became Vivi’s barber. Each solely focused on work, gym, party, repeat – neither expected what was in store for them! Upon realizing they shared the same values, love for family, and so much more, a unique and wonderful relationship bloomed. Those who know us best would describe us as determined, loyal, and unwavering in the support we share for one another and the ones we love. From being powerhouses in our careers, to moving a thousand miles away from family, there is no challenge we cannot conquer together. Engaged back in 2018 and married in 2020, we couldn’t be more excited to continue creating memories and strengthening our relationship. We spend most of our time resting on the weekends, working on plants and home improvement projects. We’ve switched out night clubs and bars to adventuring and beaching around Florida, where we currently live.
