Meet the Couple

This month’s featured newlyweds are Jordan-Lindsay and Gerard!

Taking advantage of the multiple picturesque venue locations Paramount offers, this couple had a gorgeous ceremony in the Atrium followed by a reception in the Meyer Ballroom.

Of course, it takes more than a venue to put on a good wedding. Certain touches make the whole event come together, and fortunately for this couple, our team and vendor options did what we do best to deliver a first-rate event.

The team that put it all together included; Florals by Trudy, hair and makeup by Lakyta Elam and Glam by Dianne. couples’ attire was provided by Indocino and Vera’s Bridal, catering by Chic Chef and Cakes & Sweets, and entertainment by Jason and Level Up Events. Put it all together and it was a finely tuned night to remember for the bride and groom and their entire guest list!

Their Meet-Cute Moment

The couple’s love story began long ago with their first encounter at the groom’s workplace in downtown Chicago when the bride arrived asking to borrow a phone charger. That love was later rekindled on Memorial Day weekend during the pandemic….and the rest is history. Now the happy duo resides in Madison, Wisconsin.

How Did They Commemorate Their Love?

Jordan-Lindsay and Gerard celebrated their partnership with a glitz and glam New Year’s Eve wedding to pay tribute to the bride’s maternal grandparents who eloped on NYE long ago, proclaiming their vows in the back of a cab at midnight. That inspirational couple was married for 70 years and the tradition of celebrating new beginnings on a new year was created.

Their glitz and glam décor was created with a color palette of navy and champagne with accents of ivory and dusty blue. The duo enjoyed an evening wedding and welcomed 130 guests to witness their unique ceremony with grand introductions and a non-traditional wedding party with no adults.

Now that is a unique and excellent way to celebrate one’s love! Let Paramount Events help you personalize your wedding day to reflect what your relationship means to you and your loved ones.
