Spring 2024 Wedding Trends
FLORAL
Spring is the season for garden-inspired weddings. Couples are incorporating fresh in-season flowers everywhere they can throughout their big day in archways, seating assignments, centerpieces, bouquets, and many more. The most popular flowers seen in spring weddings are peonies, roses, tulips, and hydrangeas providing subtle pastel colors throughout the celebration.

FOOD
Themed food stations are on the rise! Have non-traditional wedding food and snacks that you love on your special day. A great way to do this is to talk to your caterer about their late-night snack options. Many caterers have an extensive list of foods and snacks to offer your guests to keep the party going. It can even be a fun interactive activity, like a smores station, where guests make their own sweet treat.
Couples are moving away from a traditional large serving cake for all of their guests to a small retro-inspired cutting cake for themselves and sweets tables for guests. From donuts to candy, this is a way to customize your reception with your favorite desserts. You can even incorporate fresh seasonal fruits like strawberries or lemons to heighten your spring celebration.

ATTIRE
When choosing dresses and suits for your bridal party, it can be hard to find something that works for everyone. This is why many couples are opting for mismatched attire that fits perfectly for each member of the party. This can include different hues or styles of bridesmaid dresses and different types of ties or jackets for groomsmen.
It can be difficult to narrow down wedding dress options, so why not choose two? There is a growing trend for brides to have one dress for their ceremony and a different dress to make a grand entrance into the reception. Many brides have a more elaborate and detailed dress for the ceremony and a shorter, more comfortable dress for the reception.

DÉCOR
Spring weddings in 2024 have a high focus on florals, with simpler accompanying décor. One way to accomplish this look is through clear acrylic signs. Couples have custom acrylic signage made for gift tables, bars, and food tables, moving away from the flashier neon signs.
Sustainability is a big factor on couples’ minds when planning their wedding. There are many eco-friendly ways to elevate your big day, like using florals or plants as place cards or guest favors instead of something that would be thrown away. You can also reduce waste by renting linens, glassware, or furniture. Another alternative is to use décor that could be repurposed after the wedding day.

UNIQUE IDEAS
Traditional guest books are on the way out. Instead, couples are using more unique alternatives like shared digital photo albums or telephone guest books. It is a way to easily relive your wedding day through the different perspectives of your guests. It also eliminates the risk of losing, damaging, and storing a physical guest book.
As far as photography goes, couples want a more candid style of wedding shoot instead of posed portraits. This may involve more than one photographer to capture more moments throughout the day. Couples are also incorporating disposable cameras into their reception to give more of a timeless look to their photos.
