Tap Summer Masterclass

Join Chicagoland performer, educator, and choreographer, Annie Jo Fischer, for our summer tap workshop.

About Annie:

Annie Jo Fischer is a Chicagoland performer, educator, and choreographer, holding a BFA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. She began performing in Illinois at Six Flags Great America, and since then has studied on scholarship with the Jump Rhythm Jazz Project, as well as performed professionally at The Paramount (Hairspray), Drury Lane (42nd Street, Rock of Ages, Matilda, White Christmas), The Marriott (Singin’ in the Rain, Holiday Inn, Anything Goes, The Nutcracker, Madagascar), The Ordway (42nd Street), and Fireside Theater (42nd Street, Little Mermaid). Annie Jo has choreographed close to 100 musicals on various Chicagoland stages as well as taught various styles of dance at studios, schools, and in master class workshops across the Chicago area suburbs, specializing in tap and musical theatre. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College, teaching all levels of tap in the musical theatre program, and on faculty at the Lincolnshire Academy of Dance, owned and operated by Brenda Didier.

Annie Jo is a high energy artist who believes that a bold, polished, engaging finished product is best achieved through a collaborative, committed, and supportive environment and process. She is simply ecstatic to be involved with The Paramount School for the Arts!
