Come and join us for this special Musical Theatre Vocal Workshop at PSA! Emily Kristen Morris, currently playing Elsa in Paramount’s production of Disney’s Frozen The Broadway Musical, will lead this Musical Theatre Vocal Workshop.
This workshop will include a musical theatre focused group warm-up, a presentation all about musical theatre vocal technique, acting-through-song, how to nail your Musical Theater auditions, common vocal tendencies that might be holding you back, and how to improve your vocal strength, agility, balance, and connection. This workshop will include one on one song coaching and a Q&A! Emily will answer all your burning questions about her theatrical background and what it’s like to be on a Broadway National Tour!
*One on one coaching participants will be selected at random but all participants will receive a great deal of professional group coaching.

More About Emily Kristen Morris:
Born and raised in the heart of San Francisco, Emily found her love of the arts at a young age and never looked back. She began her vocal studies with Broadway and opera star Richard Nikol at age 11, and performed professionally in musicals around the Bay Area throughout middle school and high school. She left the West Coast to study and graduate from the prestigious University of Cincinnati; College- Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is now based in New York City, where she performs as an actor-singer, and runs her world-renowned voice studio: EKM Vocal Studio.
Emily has performed across the nation and internationally. Most recently, Emily was the Elphaba standby on the Broadway National Tour of Wicked. Some of her other favorite theatre roles include Bea in Something Rotten (Broadway National Tour), Daisy in Side Show, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, and Sophie in Mamma Mia. Emily has performed as a solo vocalist with symphony orchestras, including the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra in China, and the Norwalk Symphony. Her voice is also featured on Joey Contreras’ new album “In Pieces.”
In 2019, Emily got her voice pedagogy certification with the Institute for Vocal Advancement, and founded her voice studio EKM Vocal Studio.
Since then, the studio has grown exponentially (with 7 associate teachers attached) and Emily has become a highly sought after, world-renowned vocal instructor! She teaches lessons, masterclasses, and workshops to passionate singers both virtually and in person in New York City.
