Back this Fall! Step behind the curtain and discover what it takes to make a production run smoothly in Intro to Stage Management for students in grades 6–12.

This hands-on class introduces aspiring stage managers to the essential skills that keep theater magic organized and on track. Students will explore script analysis, rehearsal tracking, communication techniques, reporting systems, and the basics of calling a show. Along the way, they’ll gain real-world insight into how stage managers support directors, performers, and crews to bring a production to life.

The semester concludes with a special Work-in-Progress Showing in PSA’s McKee Studio Theater, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their learning and celebrate their growth in this behind-the-scenes role. WIPS performance 12.8.2026 at approximately 7:30 pm
