Chicago Public Library’ s Content Curator for Youth

As Content Curator for Youth at Chicago Public Library, Liv is responsible for ordering children’s materials for all CPL branches. She connects kids and their adults with books at the reference desk, in staff trainings, with booktalks, and by blogging and creating book lists for CPL Kids’ page. She leads a dynamic team of children’s librarians in the year-long process of creating CPL’s annual Kids Best of the Best book lists.

Outside of CPL, Liv serves on the Nominations and Evaluators Committees for the Rebecca Caudill State Book Award. Liv is also a member of ALSC and co-convener of the ALSC Collections Management Discussion Group.
