Striding to center stage, to deliver a stunning soliloquy….
Leaping high, to land with breathtaking grace…
Actors and dancers are, by their nature, risk-takers. As a student at Paramount School of the Arts, it’s a truth you learn early: artists don’t get anywhere by playing it safe. But let’s face it: right now isn’t the time to take risks.
The coronavirus is requiring us all to practice social distancing. And that, unfortunately, is driving the School to reschedule most of its offerings, as detailed below.
Art is about risk. But it’s also about perseverance.
Paramount was founded to help our students unleash and achieve their dreams. Today, our fervent hope is that you will continue your dream – and bring it back to class as soon as you can.
We’ll welcome you back as always — to help you dare and soar once more.
Sincerely,
Shannon Cameron
Director of Education and Community Engagement
Paramount School of the Arts

SPRING CLASSES

To help keep all our artists and their families safe from COVID-19, it’s our sad duty to cancel all remaining Spring Classes. Over the next two days, all spring students will receive an email with a credit for any canceled class sessions. Your credits will never expire and can be easily redeemed toward a future registration at Paramount School of the Arts.

SUMMER CAMPS

We are optimistic for summer! Of course, we will monitor changing conditions, but we remain confident that this summer will bring legions of exuberant young artists flooding back to Paramount!

  • Summer Camps are now open for registration.
  • Register by April 4, 11:59 PM and SAVE 20% on all eligible camps.
  • Use your Spring Class credit toward Summer Camp registration. Automatically applies at checkout.
  • Click here to get started.

CONTINUING UPDATES

Although we’ll continue to communicate with all students via email, up-to-date information will also be posted on our website at ParamountSchool.com. Please check back often.

CONTACTING US

Due to the stay-at-home order, the school office has been closed but staff are standing by remotely to answer your questions. Please email us at school@paramountarts.com or leave a voicemail at 630.896.6810 for a return call. (Due to our limited staff, please be patient as we seek to serve your needs!)

YOUR SUPPORT

We’re deeply gratified by the many calls and emails from our patrons, asking how they can support Paramount School of the Arts during this time. The best way to assist our nonprofit organization is to make a donation if you are in a position to do so – contributions allow us to flexibly meet the School’s many challenges in a period of uncertainty. Registering for Summer Camps is also invaluable (we know our students need something to look forward to right now!).

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. Stay safe, healthy and hopeful.
