Through interactive exercises, students will explore audition techniques, storytelling through song, and strategies for creating authentic, memorable performances. Michael will also share insights into finding representation, building professional audition materials, and navigating the realities of a career in the performing arts. The workshop concludes with mock auditions (time permitting) and a Q&A for both students and parents, offering valuable advice from someone who has built a successful career on stages across the country.

Students are encouraged to bring a headshot and résumé (if available), questions about the industry, and a 16-bar or one-minute cut of a song if they would like audition feedback.
