Wednesday Workshop: Voice and Speech

Select Dates Below

Join us for the second in our Wednesday Workshop series: Voice and Speech. Taught by Chicago professional voice/dialect teacher, Susan Gosdick.

Talking to someone sitting next to you is extremely different than speaking to anyone on stage. And being able to speak on a stage or on a film set consistently without doing any damage to your voice, takes some work and training.

Join voice/dialect teacher, Susan Gosdick as she introduces techniques to help keep your voice healthy during rehearsals and performances. Susan teaches voice / dialects at Columbia College Chicago and Roosevelt University, and has taught at U of I, Urbana-Champaign and UIC. She also coaches dialects in Chicago (Paramount Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Music Theatre Works, Shattered Globe, Artistic Home among others), and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.

Wednesday Workshops are geared towards older teens and adults who work and participate in any kind of theater.
