ABOUT THE SCHOOL
IT STARTED WITH A DREAM
The idea for Paramount School of the Arts began more than a decade ago, when Paramount President and CEO Tim Rater first envisioned creating a school dedicated to arts education. That vision became reality with our Grand Opening on June 1, 2019. Today, the school offers robust year‑round programming, including more than 40 summer camps for youth across the region.
Paramount School of the Arts is a place for people who create, express themselves and dream in their own way. We are here for the young children discovering their creativity and imagination. For the teens ready and determined to take bolder artistic risks. And for the adults and seniors who never stopped dreaming.
This is a welcoming place to push yourself, build perseverance and amplify your creative voice. Students learn from the finest teaching artists and professionals in the country—many of whom you may have seen on the Paramount Theatre stage. Each student becomes a key member of our ever-growing, never-ending Paramount community.
