Paramount Aurora Venues

From historic stages to immersive spaces and outdoor concerts along the Fox River, Paramount offers a range of venues designed to bring people together through the arts. Each space—whether hosting grand theatrical productions, intimate storytelling or live music under the open sky—sets the stage for a memorable experience.

Paramount Theatre

Originally built in 1931, Paramount Theatre is Aurora’s premier performance venue and a celebrated architectural landmark. Designed as a luxurious movie palace, its opulent interior has welcomed decades of entertainment—from vaudeville and concerts to sing‑a‑longs, classic films and theatrical spectacles.

Today, the beautifully restored theatre seats 1,885 guests and continues to deliver world‑class performances while honoring its historic charm. Weekly classic film screenings pay tribute to Paramount’s cinematic roots.

Each year, Paramount Theatre welcomes more than 350,000 patrons from over 250 communities, including more than 40,000 Broadway Series subscribers. Our Broadway Series remains at the heart of the Paramount brand, offering Broadway‑caliber productions at an accessible price.

Copley Theatre

Paramount’s 165‑seat Copley Theatre offers an intimate, deeply engaging theatrical experience where audiences feel truly connected to the performance. Recently renovated, the space features a new bar and lounge alongside state‑of‑the‑art production capabilities.

Copley Theatre is home to our BOLD Series, a curated selection of classic and contemporary works presented each season. These productions invite audiences to experience daring storytelling, innovative staging and fresh perspectives in a setting designed to bring you closer to the action.

Stolp Island Theatre

Located along the scenic Fox River, Paramount’s Stolp Island Theatre has just 98 seats, giving every guest an up‑close, all‑encompassing theatrical experience. Designed as a flexible, experiential space, even the lobby immerses you into the show setting, while also providing all the amenities Paramount is known for, such as space to socialize before and after the show and featured cocktails at the bar.

The venue currently hosts the acclaimed production Million Dollar Quartet, transporting audiences to Sun Studio in Memphis on December 4, 1956—the night Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins shared an unforgettable jam session. This high‑energy musical celebration explores the roots of blues, gospel, country, rock, and rockabilly in a fully immersive setting.

RiverEdge Park

RiverEdge Park is Aurora’s outdoor pride and joy—a 7,500‑capacity general admission concert venue set along the Fox River. Featuring a riverwalk, bike paths, pier access, and naturalistic landscaping, the park serves as a year‑round destination and transforms each spring and summer into one of Chicagoland’s most beloved live music venues.

RiverEdge Park offers a seamless guest experience, from easy ticket purchasing to convenient transportation and free nearby parking. Annual highlights include Blues on the Fox, a family‑friendly Fourth of July celebration, and performances by world‑renowned artists—inviting guests to relax, dance, and enjoy live music under the open sky.

Paramount School of the Arts

Paramount School of the Arts is an all‑ages educational hub offering comprehensive training in theatre, dance, music, and more. Located in the beautifully renovated John C. Dunham Aurora Arts Center, just steps from Paramount Theatre, the school provides private instruction, group classes, workshops, audition‑based programs, and summer camps.

Designed as a creative home for artists at every stage, PSA welcomes young children discovering the arts, teens ready to challenge themselves, and adults and seniors who continue to grow and explore. Students learn from exceptional teaching artists and working professionals—many seen on Paramount Theatre stages—in a supportive environment that values growth, perseverance, and creative discovery.

Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom

The Meyer Ballroom is a refined, versatile space ideal for celebrations of all kinds. With modern, neutral décor, it offers a welcoming canvas for weddings, corporate gatherings, milestone celebrations, and private events.

The space features floor‑to‑ceiling windows with charming views of the Fox River and Paramount Theatre, a spacious outdoor patio, and a state‑of‑the‑art sound system. Elegant and flexible, the Meyer Ballroom provides a beautiful setting for memorable events in the heart of downtown Aurora.
