Born into royalty, young lion cub Simba just can’t wait to be king of the Pride Lands. Unfortunately, his evil Uncle Scar feels the same way. Scar concocts a diabolical plan to kill Simba’s father Mufasa, banish Simba and take the throne. Scar even goes so far as to convince Simba that his father’s death is his fault. Simba runs away and meets up with two other outcasts, Timon and Pumbaa. Simba lives by their Hakuna Matata lifestyle until his past comes back to haunt him. Will Simba face his past or choose to remain an outcast? Featuring the voice talents of Matthew Broderick and James Earl Jones.
