MEET DAVID SEDARIS! David Sedaris will be doing pre-show and post-show signings at Paramount Theatre. To meet David, enter through the Paramount Main Lobby doors, walk through the Main Lobby, get your ticket scanned by Paramount staff, and proceed to the Original Lobby — located by Aisle Doors 1 & 2. David will only be signing his books or other medium of his own work such as his CDs. Photos are not allowed at the signing or during the show. The pre-show signing takes place from approximately 6:40 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. Shortly after the performance, David will begin a post-show signing in the Main Lobby near the box office windows (just past the coat room and merchandise tables). David’s books are available for sale at the merchandise tables located in the Main Lobby, across from the coat room.
ABOUT THE SHOW
With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s preeminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. Sedaris, regular National Public Radio contributor and author of the best sellers Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and his newest Calypso, will be offering a selection of all-new readings and recollections, as well as a Q&A session and post-show book signing.
If you love David Sedaris’s cheerfully misanthropic stories, you might think you know what you’re getting into at his live readings. You’d be wrong. To see him read his own work on stage allows his autobiographical narrative to reveal a uniquely personal narrative that will keep you laughing throughout the evening. Don’t miss this event!
