Beginning Photography

It’s important for every new photographer to first learn the fundamentals. Expect to cover light and exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, shooting modes and camera lenses. Other areas we’ll explore are composition, depth of field (blurry background) and the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Learn the ins-and-outs of digital cameras and the main features found in most DSLR cameras. Students are encouraged to bring their own DSLR cameras to class, however, one will be available in class for demonstration purposes.
