Acting Through Song with Rebecca Hurd
Come and join this month’s workshop at PSA! Rebecca Hurd, currently in Paramount’s The Full Monty and previously seen in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, will lead this “Acting Through Song” 2-hour workshop!
In this workshop, you will explore how to bring authenticity, specificity, and intention to your singing – no matter the role! You will learn how to make strong acting choices based on musical interpretation and get personalized feedback on an auditions piece of your choice. Whether you’re preparing for an audition or looking to refine your technique, this workshop offers a space to experiment, learn, and grow as a musical theatre artist!
Come prepared with a 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song in progress, an accompaniment track, share your piece, and receive valuable feedback from one of Paramount’s very own artists.
