Lights, camera, action! Acting on Camera: High School is designed for students ready to take their on-camera performance skills to the next level. Whether you’re preparing for auditions, building a portfolio, or simply wanting to grow as a screen actor, this class offers hands-on training in a supportive and professional environment.
Students will focus on essential industry skills including self-taping, slating, cold reading, and scene work while gaining experience with techniques used in commercials, television, film, and digital media. Emphasis is placed on building authentic, natural performances for the camera, along with developing confidence and professionalism in the audition process.
The semester concludes with a special Work-in-Progress Showing in PSA’s McKee Studio Theater, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their growth and celebrate everything they’ve learned throughout the session. WIPS performance on 12.8.2026 at approximately approximately 6:00 pm
