Acting for Kids Spring

Calling all budding young artists! Our Acting for Kids class offers the perfect opportunity to dive into the exciting world of acting. Tailored for young talents, this 16-week course is designed to teach:

• Fundamental Skills: Introduce the early fundamentals of acting, nurturing creativity, and self-expression in a supportive and imaginative environment.
• Scene Work: Explore the art of scene work, collaborating with fellow young actors to bring stories to life and develop strong ensemble skills.
• Monologue Memorization: Learn the art of selecting and performing monologues, developing the confidence and versatility needed for auditions and performances.
• Character Development: Dive into the process of character creation, allowing young actors to explore diverse roles and personalities.
• Performance Experience: At the end of term, students will participate in WIPS — Work in Progress Showing — for their families to enjoy what they’ve been creating.
