With this morning’s sunrise comes the dawning of a new era at Paramount: so much happening simultaneously, a synchronicity and purposefulness that seems to have taken on a life of its own were it not for the vision of our President and CEO Tim Rater! Tim has called for a meeting this evening of our entire company, (some 400 members!) to announce and update us in his own words on Paramount Nation’s progress and plans.

Also speaking will be our production and creative staff joined by Mayor Richard C. Irvin and Tony Award-winning Director, John Doyle, at the helm of the world premiere new musical adaptation of the film August Rush right here at Paramount in Aurora.

Mr. Doyle is here this morning to attend callbacks after a series of open and invited auditions over the past several weeks coordinated by our Casting Director Trent Stork working with New Works Development Director Amber Mak. Over a bit of supper last night I met with members of Doyle’s New York team, his Music Director Greg Jarrett and Casting Director Benton Whitley of Stewart Whitley, here for auditions today as well. I will report to you on both fronts, the auditions and the meeting, next week!

Caught the Sunday evening performance of Legally Blonde and was blown away yet again! What a way to open the season!

This cast raised the roof, tireless and finely tuned! It’s all going by so fast! Don’t miss it! (And season subscriptions are still available)!

Gotta run! Amazing day ahead!

Love & thanks,

Jim
