A trio of stellar songstresses unite in a torchy tribute to their idols. This concert pays homage to three indomitable spirits of song, weaving their diverse voices into an inspiring portrait of America’s musical heritage. Karen Marie Richardson effortlessly emits the sweet and sultry swing of Jazz great Ella Fitzgerald; Angela Ingersoll hauntingly captures the emotional power of Popular icon Judy Garland; and Katie Deal soulfully embodies the tender heartache of country legend Patsy Cline. This moving celebration features a bounty of beloved hit songs including “Cry Me a River,” “The Man That Got Away,” “Crazy” and many more.

Karen Marie Richardson (Herself/Ella Fitzgerald) Edge Chicago proclaims Karen’s voice “A gift from God… The subtlety of her musicality is simply gorgeous.” Karen currently appears as nightclub singer Stella Sinclair in the Off-Broadway phenomenon Sleep No More, where she’s improvised duets with such pop music luminaries as Pink and John Legend. National Tour credits include starring as the title character in Duke Ellington’s opera Queenie Pie. Other theatre credits include: multiple productions of Hairspray (Motormouth Maybelle), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Nell Carter), and Ragtime (Sarah’s Friend). Concerts include touring with Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah, and Ella Fitzgerald: First Lady of Song. Angela Ingersoll (Herself/Judy Garland) Chicago Sun-Times dubs her “irresistible,” “sensational,” and “simply stunning,” while Broadway World raves “her charm onstage is infectious… Ingersoll is brilliant.” Angela’s outstanding performances nationwide garner accolades including two Jeff Award nominations, four Ostrander Awards, and two Ostrander Award nominations. Theatre credits include: The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), South Pacific (Nellie), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Carousel (Julie), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Jekyll and Hyde (Lucy), The Secret Garden (Martha), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth), Richard III (Lady Anne), The Game’s Afoot (Daria), The Philadelphia Story (Tracy), and The Great Gatsby (Myrtle).
