Pay What You Can
At Paramount Theatre, we believe everyone should have access to live theatre. That’s why we offer Pay What You Can performances—two nights per show—where you choose the price you feel comfortable paying per ticket.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN
Paramount believes everyone should have the chance to see live theater, and so we developed this program. Located in downtown Aurora, Paramount Theatre is offering two “Pay What You Can” nights per show. This means you pay whatever you can and feel comfortable paying per ticket. You can buy up to 4 tickets for that performance. You will get the best seats available for that performance at the time you buy it. It is that simple.
HERE’S HOW YOU GET TICKETS
You can purchase tickets in-person only at the box office on the day of the show. Pay What You Can ticket sales are based on availability.
For Pay What You Can tickets at Paramount Theatre shows, ticket sales start at 10 a.m. up until show time. The Paramount Theatre box office is located at 23 East Galena Boulevard in downtown Aurora.
Call for questions or more information at 630-896-6666.
HOW IT WORKS
Come to the ticket window and let the staff know you are here for the “Pay What You Can” performance. You will be asked how much you’d like to pay per ticket, and that is the price per ticket you will pay.
TICKET LIMIT
There is a limit of 4 tickets per person. Tickets are subject to availability. Offer not valid toward previous purchases. Online or over-the-phone purchases will not be permitted.
SEATS
You will get the best possible seats available at the time of your purchase.
Alderwoman Scheketa Hart-Burns
The late Alderwoman Scheketa Hart-Burns made a profound impact on our community, and we want to carry forward her legacy. Our Pay-What-You-Can initiative will be named in her memory for our 2023-2024 theater season.

R.E.A.C.H. — Resources Expanding the Arts and Connecting Humanity
Paramount is fiercely committed to making the performing arts accessible to the greater Aurora community. To support that mission, we established R.E.A.C.H., a fundraising initiative dedicated to expanding access and opportunity through the arts.
R.E.A.C.H. supports programs that open doors to the arts for children and adults alike, including Pay What You Can performances and other free or reduced‑price events across our venues throughout the season.
The fund also strengthens Paramount’s commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Theatre has the power to inspire a more connected, compassionate community—and that can only happen when everyone is included, valued, empowered and heard.
